Bay Leaves as a Cockroach Repellent.

How to use bay leaves to prevent cockroaches in your home.



1. Cockroaches, also called roaches are one of most resilient pests known to man. They can very invasive and find their way into all kinds of places.

2. There are pesticides which you can purchase to destroy roaches, however we believe that the best option is to keep them away all together.

3. Bay leaves can be used as a completely natural way to deter cockroaches.

4. This is an excellent alternative to using harmful chemicals and insecticides. It also does not kill the bugs, only repels them.

5. All you have to do is place crushed bay leaves around the home, near windows and doors. Also place a handful outside the building. 

6. Cockroaches have a very strong sense of smell, and hate the smell of bay leaves. This deters them and makes them go away.

7. You should also place bay leaves in areas where you store food. You can do this by grinding some dried bay leaves into a dish and leaving this in the general food areas.

8. Be sure to put down fresh leaves every 3-4 weeks, so that the smell stays strong and continues to scare off the roaches. 

9. These leaves are none-toxic for animals, and are therefore a great solution if you have pets.

10. You can do this with either dried or fresh bay leaves, depending upon your preference.

11. Did you know that cockroaches can actually survive nuclear radiation? They will most likely be around well after the human race is gone.

12. These bay leaves will also work in repelling other bugs, including flies, moths, ants, earwigs and more.
