The health benefits and uses of cayenne pepper, also known as red hot chili pepper.

1. Cayenne pepper is a fruit which is often dried and powdered to make a spice. This has been used for over 9000 years as a natural medicine.

2. These are related to bell peppers but are smaller and have a longer, thinner shape.

3. They are known for being extremely “hot” when eaten, and can make the nerves in the mouth react to create a burning sensation.
