The benefits of using baking soda on the hair and scalp, and a simple recipe to use at home.
1. Nowadays we use many different brands of shampoo and conditioners. The chemicals and fragrances in these can cause damage and hair loss.
2. By using the simple recipe in this video, you can stimulate new hair growth, and revitalise existing hair, in a completely natural way.
Recipe: You Will Need
3 Tablespoons of Baking Soda
4 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
Two small bowls or squeezy bottles.
Mix the baking soda with 9 tablespoons of warm water in the first bowl.
In the second bowl mix the apple cider vinegar with 10 tablespoons of water.
You now have a natural shampoo and conditioner!
Method:
Rinse your hair with warm water and apply the baking soda mix. Massage this into the scalp and through to the ends of your hair.
Let this sit for 3 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
Then, rinse your hair with the apple cider vinegar mix. Do not get this in your eyes.
Finally rinse your hair with cold water to seal in the moisture and smooth the hair. This will help to reduce any frizz.
3. If you repeat this every day or two, you will notice your hair becoming stronger, healthier and shinier.
4. The baking soda and apple cider, will destroy any bacteria or fungus which may be preventing proper hair follicle growth.
5. This will cure dandruff in no time, and you will begin to notice new hair growth which is much stronger.
6. In the first month, your hair will seem greasier and more oily. This is normal. It can take a few weeks for the body to get used to this natural method.
7. The baking soda works to cleanse your hair from any chemicals that it may have absorbed from your usual hair care products.
8. This happens because our usual products strip the hair of natural oils, so it takes some time for the body to adjust.
9. You may need to double the recipe ingredients if you have extremely long hair.
10. The apple cider is not completely necessary, but will help to add healthy nutrients to the hair follicles.
11. I recommend adding a few drops of peppermint, rose or lavender oil to the apple cider for a gentle fragrance.
12. The best thing about these natural remedies, is that they are very cheap and will save you lots of money in the long term.
